Tucker Numbering Question

Postby Billy Kingsley » Sat Nov 25, 2006 5:20 pm

Hi, I have a question as to the numbering of Tuckers.

Why did the numbering start at number 1001?

Why not just #1?

If a second year had been done, would the first one of '49 have been #2001?

That was the first car assembled, if I remember correctly....Would that make #1002 the second one made?

I was fortunate enough to see that one at the ACD Museum in Auburn Indiana in 2003...
I know I've posted these photos before, but who here doesn't like seeing Tuckers?
